Spotify Audiobooks Selects
Spotify Audiobook Selects is a new publishing program offering indie authors professional audio production, upfront payment, promotion, and distribution to Spotify listeners. Twice a year, Spotify Audiobooks Selects will request manuscripts around a specific theme.
For our current theme, we're calling all swoon-worthy tropes: Enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, fake marriage, falling in love with your sibling's best friend, and any other of your juicy favorites!
Send us your on-theme, new adult or adult romance novellas between 10,000 and 40,000 words. No erotica or children's content, please.

Submission FAQs
No, we will not consider submissions that don't fit our current criteria. Please check back in periodically to see if future submission window criteria are a better fit for your writing.
Submissions are assessed on a rolling basis, and we'll reach out if we're interested in working with you. While we will try our best, we can't guarantee a response. If we have not responded to your submission within 12 weeks, you can assume we have determined to not move forward with your title.
We encourage any authors not selected for publication to consider self-publishing with Spotify for Authors instead.
Yes! As long as your work has never been published in audio format and you still hold the necessary rights, we encourage you to submit works previously or currently published in print or e-book format.
Publishing FAQs
You're welcome to promote, market, and distribute the work in other formats (ebook, paper) and platforms, subject to the terms of your agreement with Spotify.
No, if we distribute your title on Spotify, the audiobook will also be made available on other digital retail and library platforms.
